Writing for me has grown out of a desire to share things I am interested in

...sort of my perspective on things. Whether it be what I grow in my garden or trips I take with family or when I am asked to write about a travel destination ... I just love writing about it.

I have found that others enjoy reading my take on things and so now I get to do what I love to do ...write and travel!

My husband Derek Figueira is an accomplished photographer and I often draw on his skills to add images to what I write as in an article I wrote about growing garlic for Astoria Magazine in my 'Jennifer on Gardening' Series.
